Welcome to the School of the Fourfold Path, where one can refine their body and mind, and seek a connection with the four elements. I am Master Chahaya Tam, I lead this order, alongside my husband, Tenebrim. You have done well to seek us out, as there are no greater adepts of the pugilist arts within this city than us.
Chahaya Tam reaches out, and clasps your shoulder, her grip tight, yet you can tell she is holding back some of her strength within her corded muscles.
Let's get started. For your initial training, I would like you to approach and challenge some of our students to a sparring match. They will not hold back, and I do not expect you to, either. If they know you down, the match will be over, but you can return to spar later when you have honed your skill. If you have further questions about the matches, just ask about them. All of us in the order have had to pass through this trial by fire, so to speak.
Wear your belt, so they know you as a fellow student, and speak to them to start sparring. Recover a training emblem from them. When you have bested three of our students, return to me, along with your belt. Tran and fight!

At level 3, Hail Chahaya and venture outside to defeat Ashira scouts. Bring back three Ashira Scout Necklaces and your First Degree sash.
Requires level 3 and completion of the First Degree trial.

Travel to the Waterfall of Serenity. Stand on solid ground, drink the Elixir of Mental Focus, and endure the encounter without attacking. Wait for the shadow to become a medallion.
Do not attack. The source specifically warns that swimming during the trial can be fatal; stand on solid ground before drinking.
