Tanning

All right, since you are standing there: clean the pelt, work it properly, and turn it into canvas the leatherworker can actually use. There are no shortcuts, no matter what the young folk claim, and if you ruin a good hide I will know. Now quit hovering; an old man has work to do.

Getting started

Treat the pelt with some respect

  1. Place one pelt at a time into a Tanning Bucket.
  2. Add the tanning supplies named by the recipe.
  3. Combine them to produce canvas for Leatherworking.
  • Pelt quality determines the resulting material tier.
