Entering Glinting Hollow · access
Complete the Glinting Hollow Key Quest, place the Glowing Fae Scale on your cursor, and click the pine cone beneath the dragon skull in the guarded Evershade cave.
Official July 2026 notes confirm that the entry key is required. Internal scale keys remain on the character through death according to the rendered zone guide.
First-floor nature key · event
Loot Fresh Squirrel Meat from treants, spawn Softpaws from a flat rock, and give the meat to Softpaws. First-floor enemies can then drop Glinting Scales of Nature.
The hand-in may need to be done while invisible because of faction aggression. Thornbark is documented as dropping six nature scales after activation.
Second-floor water key · event
Kill five pale wisps while standing in the central pond to suppress Toxic Fumes for five minutes, then kill Brightspark or Strig for six Glinting Scales of Water.
Ordinary second-floor enemies may drop single scales. Killing a glowing wisp resets the event; the zone guide explicitly warns not to kill one.
Third-floor decay key · event
Kill a forgotten shadow near a firepit for six Glinting Scales of Decay.
Large and whispering shadows near a firepit may also have a chance to drop a scale. Those shadows cannot be damaged unless they are near a fire.
Fourth-floor brazier sequence · event
Bring a standard Torch. Light South, then East, West, Center, and North to suppress the floor damage-over-time effect for 12 minutes.
Use /look to identify each inscription. South is by the ramp between two dryads and a tree. East is above the bear cave where Hrask spawns. West overlooks the center. Center is on the central platform; its ramp is missing on the north-facing side. North is at the base of the ramp leading to East. The six-scale Hrask claim remains explicitly unconfirmed.
Fifth-floor ice-crack event · event
Hail the drake in the central ruins for an ice pick. Kill only non-caster elementals, then equip and right-click the pick at the ice crack once the snare is disabled.
An elemental with a mana bar resets progress. The drake may be Veylith the Frosttongue, but the rendered zone guide does not explicitly identify it. The interaction awards a Glinting Scale of Ice.
Sixth-floor potions and winter scale · warning
Veylith provides a Mixing Satchel for experimenting with mushrooms. A separate series of sixth-floor tasks reportedly grants the Glinting Scale of Winter, but that sequence and the scale use remain unknown.
Use /take Mushroom near colored mushroom patches. Black Mushrooms drop from Gazer and a myconid prince. The known combination table is cataloged under Potions for Veylith Frosttongue. Darkroot Slurry is listed with unavailable inputs.
